Small Business Feature: A Bar of Their Own
It’s national small business week! We wanted to highlight one of the amazing small businesses in the Seward Neighborhood, A Bar of Their Own. A Bar of Their Own is the Midwest’s first sports bar to exclusively show women’s sports.
One of the owners, Jillian Hiscock, says “We have created an inclusive, family-friendly space where women are elevated on both our television screens and our menus.”
If you’ve been to a Bar of Their Own, you can feel this when you walk in. They opened in March and have been seemingly busy ever since. Opening weekend saw a line down Franklin Avenue. And if you haven’t been there yet, you should!
