The Seward Frolic & Holiday Art Market
Seward Neighborhood, Minneapolis, Minnesota – December 7th, 2024, 10 am-4 pm
Step into holiday enchantment as the Seward Frolic & Holiday Art Market invites you to the heart of Minneapolis’ cherished and historic Seward Neighborhood nestled near the University of Minnesota campus. Organized by Seward Civic and Commerce Association, Seward Neighborhood Group, Vine Arts Center, and Redesign, the event will feature special sales and events at local businesses, along with a Holiday Art Market showcasing local artists and artisans at Matthews Park Recreation Center (2318 29th Ave. S), Vine Arts Center (2637 27th Ave S) and Northern Clay Center (2424 E Franklin Ave).
To conclude the event, attendees are invited to frolic at the Wrap Party, 5:00 to 9:00 pm at the Eagles Arie No. 34 (2507 E. 25th St) with free tacos and cajun dance music by the New Riverside Ramblers.
In addition to this fun day, there will be a bingo card activity for everyone to participate in and win prizes! Here’s how it works: you visit the locations listed on the bingo card, which includes some businesses in Seward and local artists who will be selling their artwork around the neighborhood (Matthews Park and Ivy Building). At each site you visit, you can get a mark indicating your visit. Once you’ve completed your card, you can submit it to one of the collection boxes located in Matthews Park during the day until 4pm or at the Wrap Party (by latest 5:15pm), where winners will be announced.
