SCCA & LBA:

Crime & Safety Meeting

Monday, October 22nd

11:45 AM – 1:00 PM

Soup for You Café

2511 E Franklin Ave

(Basement of Bethany Lutheran Church, enter on 25th Ave)

Hosted by SCCA & LBA

Please join us for a timely discussion of Crime & Safety issues in the Seward and Longfellow neighborhoods, especially as they impact businesses. We have been hearing concerns from many of you the last few months. Third Precinct CCP Safe Officer Shun Tillman will join us, along with representatives from each of our City Council Members – Wards 2, 6, 9 and 12.

Enjoy networking with your fellow members as we enjoy a delicious hot lunch prepared by Chef Judah at Soup for You! Cafe. Now in its 4th year, the Café provides a community meal every Mon-Fri from 11 am – 1 pm in the basement of Bethany Lutheran Church. Every day the Café offers several delicious Halal and vegetarian soups, bread, and Peace Coffee, as they strive to “build community, one bowl at a time”.

NOTE: Soup for You Café is pay-what-you-can. We suggest a donation of $10 per person, but you are welcome to pay any amount for lunch to support the important work they are doing helping feed and sustain those less fortunate in our community. You can either pay at the door with cash or a check made out to Soup for You Café or pay online ahead of time.

RSVPs requested so Chef Judah can make enough food!
