March Member Meeting: Green To-Go Packaging & Online Inspection Reports

Updated packaging requirements take effect on April 22, 2015 in Minneapolis. All restaurants, delis, food trucks and other food vendors will be required to use recyclable or compostable plates, cups, clamshells, and other food service containers. Learn more about the new rules from Leslie Foreman, Community Liason for the City of Minneapolis’ Environmental Health division, and Health Inspector Bob Becker.
They will also discuss the new online health reports being made available this year. And if that’s not enough, Bill Williams, Seward Co-op’s Deli Manager, will join us for a local food vendor perspective and green to-go packaging examples.
