SCCA Annual Meeting
Join us as we celebrate the past year with fellow business owners and civic leaders. We will be electing our 2025 SCCA board members, and honoring several Seward business for their contributions to our community. We’ll have drinks, appetizers and snacks from local businesses.
Façade Improvement Matching Grant
Funded by the City of Minneapolis, the Façade Improvement Matching Grant Program works to revitalize and sustain the economic vitality of our commercial districts through public/private investments in façade projects for commercial properties with matching grants of up to $5,000 per storefront. Eligible businesses include those along Lake Street and Minnehaha and within a half mile radius of LRT stations. Eligible improvements include: exterior painting, doors, windows, lighting, signage, awnings, murals and more!
You can apply for this matching grant if you are:
-The building owner OR
-A commercial renter that has approval from the building owner.
The building you’re improving must be:
-Located within a Great Streets business district AND
-Used for retail, office space or other community service, like a daycare center.
