Youth Chess Champs Seeking SCCA Support for Nationals
Students from Seward Montessori recently participated in the 2014 MSCA* State Scholastic Championships on March 29-30, impressively winning 1st place in the K-6 team trophy and 2nd place in the K-3 team trophy.

Scam Artist Posing as Xcel Representative
Business owners beware! Local businesses are being solicited as targets in what’s known as a utility shut-off scam. This past March, local business Jim’s Barber Shop, received a call from an individual with a foreign accent, posing as an Xcel Energy representative.
