Last month, Redesign hired Will von Geldern to work with the business association and organize SCCA’s monthly meetings. Will is a graduate of Saint Paul Central High School and Grinnell College, and recently returned from a year of working with low-cost private schools in Hyderabad, India. Will’s interests are in economic development, entrepreneurship, and social business, and his time in India impressed upon him the importance – and challenges – of engaging immigrant communities in local community development. He hopes to integrate these experiences into his work at SCCA, bringing an inclusive, community-oriented approach to providing business solutions for the Seward community.
