Open Streets – Organizing the Community
On Sunday, August 16th Franklin Avenue will burst into a colorful, bustling hubbub of activity for Open Streets Franklin. From 11am-5pm, the street will be closed to car traffic for the second year in a row, and bikers, skaters, and pedestrians will take over.

Co-op Creamery Café Grand Opening!

The long awaited Co-op Creamery Neighborhood Café opens to the public on August 12, with the Grand Opening on Sunday, August 16 to coincide with the Open Streets Franklin event. Highlights of SCCA July Social

On July 15th SCCA hosted a social event at Café Racer Kitchen (2929 E 25th St) to welcome new SCCA members and new Seward businesses. Café Racer began as a food truck and recently expanded into a restaurant/café in Seward. They serve delicious Latin American fusion cuisine and have a lovely patio and sidewalk seating.

Save the Date – King’s Fair 2015
Every other September the Seward neighborhood celebrates King’s Fair, a much anticipated festival held at Matthews Park.
