Zipp’s is getting a long overdue makeover! Over the next few weeks, the entire look of the store will change. We’ve reorganized our wine section, rotating some shelves and opening up floor space. This makes the store feel much more open and spacious. We’ve installed a few new banks of shelves along the walls, and some products have moved around to fill them! We also got rid of the giant blinds that formerly covered the southern wall of the store and have installed tinting to great effect. The new windows look sharp!

After the windows were taken care of, we started on the walls. We will have a brand new paint job on the front half of the store, with the back half waiting until the New Year. In the beginning of August, our old, tired carpet is getting torn up! We will be installing new polished concrete flooring, which is incredibly clean and durable! Drop a bottle on the floor? Don’t fret, once it’s mopped up, no one will ever know! This is a two week process, so the store might be a mess for a moment, but the end result will be absolutely worth it.

This concludes Phase One! Phase Two starts in January: new coolers! Our two coolers will merge into one mega-cooler with brand new, wider doors. This will entail moving more products around to accommodate the new design, but we’ll still have all the faves!
Phase Three will have to wait about a year until it commences. This will entail a complete overhaul of the front counter area and entryway. Designs have not been finalized yet, but count on a radical change!
