Solar in Seward
SCCA is embarking on its first Energy Project – spurred by strong interest in the topics of energy efficiency and solar power at meetings in 2012, we applied for grant funding from the City of Minneapolis this spring to engage with Seward businesses, help connect you to resources, and, hopefully, get some solar projects going in the neighborhood.

July Business Buzz
Lots going on this month! In case you missed all the hubbub, the Seward Co-op has announced its plans to open a second location in South Minneapolis, at 38th and 3rd Avenue, an area known as a “food desert” due to the distance residents have to travel to get fresh produce. Big River Yoga Moving to Seward
The former Three Smooth Stones yoga studio has been sold to Big River Yoga – a similarly minded yoga instructor and Thai massage practitioner relocating from St Paul. Chris Gordon, Big River’s owner, learned Thai massage 15 years ago.
