Zipp’s Liquors Fundraiser for Seward-Longfellow Restorative Justice Partnership

On February 9th, Zipps Liquors is teaming up with the Seward-Longfellow Restorative Justice Partnership to present an evening of fun and fundraising at the Minneapolis Eagles Club. The event, which runs from 6:30 – 9:00 pm, offers a chance to sample beer, wines, and liquor, enjoy food and treats from local businesses, and partake in Zipps’ now-famous silent auction. And after the party, it’s the after party, featuring a keg of Sugar Shack Maple Stout from Third Street Brewhouse! All proceeds go towards the Seward Longfellow Restorative Justice Partnership, which helps young individuals who have committed crimes repair the harm they have caused through reconciliatory action.

This event is an amazing example of how local businesses can help improve our communities. The Restorative Justice Partnership looks to heal wounds caused by crime rather than relying on punishment and other techniques promoted by the traditional justice system. Head to the Seward Neighborhood Group website to learn more about the Restorative Justice Program, and stop by Zipp’s Liquors at E 2618 Franklin to get your tickets. Get your tickets before they’re gone!
