2013 Meeting Topics

In the next three months, SCCA’s monthly member meetings will provide presentations on topics that are relevant to a wide variety of business owners. Here’s what we will be focusing on:

-In January, Executive Director Sue Abderholden of the Minnesota National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) will come to speak to business owners about how to identify and prevent mental health issues with employees.

-In February, Andre Xiong of Hennepin County Environmental Services will come speak to business owners about ways to save money by recycling, reducing waste, and using preferable purchasing. This will be a great opportunity for businesses to think about reducing costs while also helping the environment.

-SCCA’s March meeting will feature update on crime and safety in the neighborhood from the Minneapolis Police Department, a topic which we often discuss in the spring.

If there is a topic that you would like us to address, please let us know by sending an email to info[at]sewardbusiness.org.
