Birchwood Cafe Seeks Support for Expansion

Rendering of Proposed Birchwood Expansion

Tracy Singleton, a long time SCCA member and owner of the Birchwood Cafe (3311 East 25th Street), is asking all interested parties to attend next Tuesday’s Seward Neighborhood Group Development Committee Meeting. A vote will be taken at that meeting regarding her expansion plans. Anyone who lives, works, or owns property in Seward is eligible to vote. Tracy has been working on this proposal for several years, and believes she has identified the best way to keep her business viable in its existing location. This is an important vote which is taken into consideration by the city when making their final decision about the variances she would need to do the expansion. Tracy explains the details herself here.
