Seward-Longfellow Restorative Justice Project (featured in our February Newsletter) is holding a training for new facilitators for their restorative justice conferences. These conferences bring low-level, juvenile offenders into a discussion with community members and facilitators to talk about how the youth’s actions caused harm and to make a plan to repair the harm. The training will be held April 20-22 and will cover the restorative justice concept and practice and will prepare new facilitators to effectively guide the discussion in these conferences. Space is very limited – only two slots remain for the April training – so don’t hesitate to contact Michele Braley if you are interested. Her email is michele@sng.org and her phone number is 612-338-6205 x108.
